Good Morning All! Obviously, I have been away the last week and I’ve missed you! I have spent the last couple weeks preparing for a move across the country and am finally “home” and settled (mostly.) I’ll be back to regular blogging effective immediately. I’ve missed it, and you! I’d love to hear from you so please, don’t hesitate to reach out with questions and requests.

 Today I want to talk about honey and vinegar. The more I read on both honey and vinegar the more convinced I am that everyone needs to take 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of local raw unfiltered honey in warm water three times a day before meals… EVERY DAY. You don’t have to limit it to just warm water – you can add it to your favorite tea as well. Just remember – WARM not HOT. I’ve included my blog post on cooking with honey so that you understand why further on in this post.

The combination helps you maintain a healthy weight, cure allergies, cure any bronchial ailments, absorb proper amounts of calcium for strong bones, maintain normal blood sugar levels, sleep better, prevent colds / flu, have better focus and energy, and a host of other benefits.

Honey is the purest of sugars – it has already been processed in the stomachs of bees so is absorbed easier into the bloodstream – it causes less stress to the pancreas – and helps create new blood cells.   It also helps your body absorb vital minerals from foods. There is a big difference between anything labeled honey and raw unfiltered honey.
