Do you suffer from fatigue, weakness, muscle and joint pain, pins and needles, depression, hormone imbalance, shaking, high blood pressure, low energy, migraines, and / or insomnia? These are all symptoms of magnesium deficiency.
Magnesium is a vital nutrient supporting muscle function, nerve function, hormone balance, and energy production. It plays a part in over 600 cellular reactions including creating DNA and communication between your brain and nerves.

With the over processing of most of our food, a significant percentage of the US doesn’t get enough minerals from our food and water sources. Filtering water or city processed water have had all the critical trace and macrominerals removed. These minerals are critical to a healthy body. Without them, certain processes are broken, and disease takes root.
How to get enough magnesium? If you plan on taking a magnesium supplement, you must also take D3 which helps your body consume and use the magnesium. I take Magwell daily, two hours prior to bedtime. Adult men should get 400 – 420mg daily, women 310 – 320mg daily.
Foods that contain magnesium? Magnesium is a mineral so think of things that are typically ground level. Dark green leafy vegetables, seeds, legumes, whole grains, bananas, dark chocolate, avocado, and nuts are all good sources with pumpkin seeds providing the most per serving with 168mg of magnesium per one ounce.

8 Sheep Organics. While doing research on a different blog post, I came across this website and was impressed and intrigued. It was specifically created for pregnant women that have sore hips and joints, can’t sleep, sleep all the time, hormones are all over the place… sound familiar? Even those of us that aren’t pregnant may have those same symptoms. They found that pregnant women are NORMALLY magnesium deficient. Once they get the proper balance, their aches and pains, moodiness, and sleep challenges all disappear. Not only that, but they have also created a magnesium cream for babies that are not sleeping well. Rubbed on their feet, they relax and sleep less fitfully, and more soundly. I’ve not tried their creams, so if you do… give me a shout so I can share your results. I’m excited to hear what you think.
I wish you a calmer day, less pain, and a restful sleep!
Blessings – E
